IJAB - Partner for International Youth Work in Europe and Around the World

IJAB promotes and shapes international youth work and international youth policy cooperation across Europe and worldwide. IJAB implements youth policy projects in cooperation with international partners, supports the exchange of expertise within the child and youth services community, and to this end functions as a platform for stakeholders in Germany and beyond. IJAB informs and advises organisations providing child and youth services, policymakers and authorities and offers training, exchange schemes for experts, handbooks and manuals, and specialist publications. IJAB advises young people on going abroad and obtaining funding. IJAB works on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, the European Commission, its own member organisations and other youth work associations and bodies.
