48 hours in transition: Young people's proposals for the transition phase

Some 40 young people from across Europe met up in Bonn on 13 to 15 October for an international youth conference entitled "Visions for your future". Together, they discussed the challenges young people throughout Europe experience during the transition from school to training or employment. They devised ideas on how to improve the situation and discussed them with experts from youth policy and child and youth services. [read more]

The Integration Of Young Chinese And German People Into Working Life

From 24 to 27 September, a Chinese delegation of members of the All-China Youth Federation visited Germany to learn about methods and projects for integrating young people into society (focus: transition from school to working life). IJAB and the Lower Saxony State Office for Social Affairs, Youth, and Family cooperated in organizing the programme for this professional exchange on behalf of BMFSFJ. [read more]
